We Love This Bride’s Layered Blush Gown—See It Here!

Most brides dream of wearing the perfect white gown on their wedding day, but Sydney knew from the very beginning she wanted something different for her Pittsburgh nuptials.  “I knew I wanted a pink/blush wedding grown,” Sydney said. “I wanted something different than the traditional white gown, but I still wanted to look like a bride.” She ended up choosing this layered blush and violet tulle Jim Hjlem ball gown with a full length hem, natural waist and a chapel train—the perfect blend of traditional and one-of-a-kind!

Her Extra Details
While her gown was almost perfect, Sydney had no problems tweaking a few elements. “I actually added an additional 9 inches to the train and added some sparkle to the dress by attaching a beaded and jeweled Allure sash,” she said. “On my wedding day, I wore a double layered tulle fingertip blush veil with scattered silver jewels on it.”
Her Subtle Makeup
It was important to Sydney that she looked like herself on her wedding day.  “I don’t wear much makeup during my day-to-day look, so I knew I didn’t want to look too done-up,” she said. “I asked for a natural look, but with a little more dramatic eye.”
Her Custom Accessories
Sydney finished off her look with unique pieces of jewelry. “My earrings and bracelet were designed to match my dress,” she said. “With pink pearls and Swarovski crystals.”
