Nicole was skeptical when Chris had a bouquet of white roses sent up to her office with a note requesting her to be downstairs by 5 p.m. sharp. When she managed to slip away, Nicole was greeted by a bicycle rickshaw waiting to whisk her through traffic and their old neighborhood, finally dropping her off at Central Park. “Just as we pulled into the park entrance, the rain stopped and Chris was there waiting for me with a picnic basket,” says Nicole. “I was very doubtful as to what he thought he was doing given the wet ground, but in the spot of one of our best dates—under the Belvedere Castle—he proposed!” From there, the pair headed to their favorite neighborhood wine spot, where Chris surprised his new fiancé with an engagement celebration filled with their family and closest friends.
