This Eco-Friendly Wedding Proves That Green Can Be Gorgeous

For Daniella, an Environmental Planning Specialist, and Will, a Civil Engineer, hosting a wedding that was not only beautiful but was also environmentally low-impact was a must. The couple turned to Alimay Events and Frank Alexander NYC to make it all happen.
They started by choosing recycled paper for all of their stationery. Mia Carta created custom seed paper invitations and programs for the day that their guests could plant in their gardens once they got home. The couple kept the decor simple, fresh and modern by incorporating elements of the property into the event’s design and highlighting the natural beauty of the surroundings by using a variety of herbs, plants and flowers that could be replanted on the property after the wedding, selecting an understated color palette of white and blue, as a well natural wood details that lent an organic feel to the space.
Peter Van Beever was there to capture every stunning detail.
